Ken Ofori-Atta is always borrowing because he benefits from the loans – John Dramani Mahama

The Presidential Candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama says Ken Ofori-Atta is always borrowing for Ghana because he benefits from every money Government borrows.

Speaking in an interview with Kwesi Pratt, John Dramani Mahama indicated that the current Minister of finance, Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta is only interested in borrowing monies from the bond market because he indirectly makes money from the monies the Government borrows.

John Dramani Mahama said;

“This finance Minister is only interested in is going on the bond market and borrowing money  because he benefits from it indirectly, his company is at the bottom of borrowing all these Euro bonds. He has borrowed 9billion from the bond market in four years and every bond he floats, data bank makes money out of it through proxies and other things and this is clearly a conflict of interest.”


The National Democratic Congress’ Presidential candidate also added that, President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo has been saying he is too old to be Corrupt because he know that his relatives and friends  like Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta, Gabby and others will steal the money and look after him when he retires.

The President knows about this and that is why he says I’m too old to be Corrupt and am not going to steal your money because he knows his relatives will steal the money for him. He can go on a plush retirement because Ken Ofori-Atta, Gabby and Co will all look after him.John Dramani Mahama added.
