KNUST Basic JHS receives GH¢5,000 after emerging as winner of 2023 Junior Science and Math Quiz
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s basic school called KNUST Basic JHS has emerged as the winner of the 2023 Junior Science and Math Quiz (JSMQ) competition.
The contestants (a girl and 3 boys) who represented their school, KNUST Basic JHS did well-articulating work for themselves and the schools which led to winning the trophy.
The winners beat Manna International School and Barbara International School in the final contest which gave them the legit right to lift the plaque.
The team, “KNUST Basic JHS” was awarded a GH₵5,000 cash prize and a laptop for each student and coach.
Indeed the future lies in the hands of the children. These youngsters have proven that knowledge is not meant for the “olds” only. They have learned from the “olds” and demonstrated the best.
The mother school, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) took to their official handle where they congratulated their “heirs” for the success chalked.
