The Member of Parliament for Krachi West Constituency Hon. Helen Adjoa Ntoso has constructed a new Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centre for Osramane in the Oti Region.
The Lawmaker has commissioned a 200 capacity BECE Center for the chiefs and people of Osramane in her beloved constituency to address some of the inherent challenges candidates in Osramane and its environs encounter before writing their BECE.
She handed over the center to the community before the start of the BECE exams on Monday, 15th November, 2021.
According to the MP, the edifice will serve nine (9) different communities namely; Ntewusae, Ehiamankyene, Osramane, Monkra, Twereso, Matta Malam and Bommoden.
The euphoric countenance worn on the faces of the chiefs and the people justified the much needed BECE Center which will save the candidates the perennial inconveniences and cost of transportation to and fro Krachi town before writing their BECE exams.
The former Volta Regional Minister Helen Adjoa Ntoso noted that, she did not only encouraged the chiefs and people to take good care of the center but also prayed with the candidates, wished them the best of luck, and admonished them to desist from examination malfeasance.
“It is my hope and prayer that all the candidates will pass the exams with flying colours to enable them graduate into the next phase of life with a solid academic foundation.”
“I strongly believe that the youth who are the touch bearers of the next generation must be given all the needed support in order for them to make a positive mark on societal and national development.” Hon. Helen Adjoa Ntoso explained.
