LIVE: Akufo-Addo’s Address on measures taken to combat Covid-19 – [UPDATE No.25]

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo delivers his 25th Nation’s address on measures taken to combat the spread of Covid-19 in Ghana since the outbreak of the virus.

The prerecorded address of President Akufo-Addo is being telecast live by GTV and on major news networks across the country.

Addressing the nation, the President said, nearly a million people received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

According to him, deployment of second dose of the vaccine will begin on 19th May, 2021.

He again noted that, government is making all efforts to achieve vaccination target. “We will continue to review our travel restrictions. It’s still necessary for us to secure our boarders. Until we achieve herd immunity, no one is safe – President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo said
