Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress is currently leading President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the seven (7) Certified regional Presidential results published by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
The regional statistics of the seven (7) Certified results has Projected John Dramani Mahama who has taken the lead with a total votes of 1,997,450 while President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had a total votes of 1,500,301 with second position.
EC receives 14 out of 16 regional results, declares certified results of 7 regions
The seven (7) out of the fourteen (14) certified results released by the Electoral Commission include North East Region, Upper West Region, Ahafo Region, Volta Region, Bono Region, Oti region and Central Region.
The Electoral Commission’s chairperson Mrs. Jean Mensa has promised that, the final results shall be declared in the early hours of Wednesday, 9th December, 2020.

She further disclosed that, Bono East Region and Northern region Presidential results are yet to be received by the Electoral Commission.
