Ghanaian hip hop musician Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal says President Nana Akufo Addo’s social media silence doesn’t mean he is doing nothing behind closed doors.
Nigerians for the past few days have been protesting against brutalities being meted out to citizens by the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police force.
Even though the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police force has been disbanded, Nigerians are still insisting on a total reform of the Nigerian Police Force.
During the protest which is now commonly known as #EndSARS, some soldiers opened fire into the protesters killing some persons and injuring others.
In the face of this #EndSARS protest which is now becoming a civil unrest, many Ghanaians have been calling on the President of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo to speak in the issue because he is the Chairperson of the Economic Community of West African States ( ECOWAS ).
However, rising to the defense of President Nana Akufo on such demands for him to speak on the #EndSARS riot, Medikal indicated that the President’s silence on the issue on social media doesn’t mean he is doing nothing behind closed doors.
In a tweet, Medikal wrote;
The Ghanaian president ein silence on social media no de mean say he is doing nothing behind closed doors. Maybe he
