Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh hands over 16 Toyota Land cruiser Prados to all Regional Directors of Education
The Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh hands over Vehicles to all Regional Directors of Education in the country.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh earlier today handed over 16 Toyota Land cruiser Prado 4 x 4 vehicles to all Regional Directors of Education on behalf of President Akufo-Addo.
The handing over of the vehicles was done in a short ceremony that was held at premises of the Ministry of Education in Accra today 21st October, 2020.

It could be recalled that earlier this year, the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia presented Isuzu Double cabin pick-up Vehicles to all Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Education Offices in the country to help support them in their management and supervision roles.
The ministry of education also earlier this year provided over 2000 motorbikes to circuit supervisors to aid them in supervising the various schools in the country.
Today’s event according to the Ministry of Education is in furtherance to their commitment to provide the requisite tools and logistics to those at the forefront of reforms that the government is pursuing in the education sector to improve learning outcomes in the country.
During the handing over ceremony, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh expressed his confidence that the vehicles will be properly taken care of and put to the use for which they have been provided, to ensure maximum efficiency and ultimately to support government’s vision for the education sector.
