- 7:30 a.m. – He commutes for a game of table tennis.
- 9:30 a.m. – He visits the market for groceries.

- 3 p.m. – He engages in gaming.
- 9:30 p.m. – He retires for the night.
Expressing gratitude, he encourages young individuals to prioritize their responsibilities before indulging in gaming, ideally waiting until retirement to wholeheartedly pursue gaming.
“We learned from the internet that there was a lady overseas who applied for a similar record, so my grandchildren wanted to try it for me,” he said.
His decision to pursue the Guinness World Records title was also influenced by a desire to showcase that senior citizens can also contribute to and understand the world of gaming, challenging stereotypes about age and gaming. Reflecting on his newfound title, Yang Binglin says it’s an honour.
When Gamer Grandpa was asked around what is the central theme/idea behind his desire to join the gaming world, he answered “I want to continue to contribute more in the role of a game blogger, guiding young people.”

I hope that children all over the world can truly enjoy and experience the good things in games. At the same time, they can apply what they learn to life and career, and games can inspire more inspiration. Yang Binglin’s success in this journey was successful because of sticking to the routine and making it consistent with the exception of traveling.
