Michael Akpovie Olise is a professional football player who represents the Premier League team Crystal Palace as either a right winger or an offensive midfielder. He was born in England and currently competes for France in youth international competition.

Olise got accepted into Reading’s Academy scholarship program in July 2018. He made his Reading debut on 12 March 2019, in a 3-0 home defeat to Leeds United, and signed a three-year professional contract with the club on 15 July. On September 19, 2020, he scored his first league goal for Reading, volleying in the second goal in a 2-0 win over Barnsley at the Madejski Stadium. He was nominated for the EFL Young Player of the Season award in April 2021.He was named EFL Young Player of the Season on April 29, 2021.

On 8 July 2021, Olise signed a five-year deal with Premier League side Crystal Palace after they had activated his £8.37 million release clause.

Olise made his Premier League debut for the club on September 11, 2021, in a 3-0 home win over Tottenham, coming on as a substitute in the 86th minute in place of Jordan Ayew. Olise made his full Crystal Palace debut on October 23, 2021, in a 1-1 home draw against Newcastle United.
