The Minority Members of Parliament say, the National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for the Techiman South Constituency Mr. Christopher Bayere has won the December 2020 elections.

According to the live coverage Collation done by the Minority caucus of Parliament led by Hon. Haruna Iddrisu indicates that, the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate won the election with a difference of 293 valid votes.

EC releases Certified Parliamentary Results by Constituencies

The slides projected by the Minority show that, Mr. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Techiman South Constituency had a total of 50,013 valid votes.

Meanwhile the NDC Parliamentary Candidate Mr. Christopher Bayere had a valid votes of 50,306.

EC’s Presidential Results Summary Sheets by Constituencies

This means that, the National Democratic Congress is expected to have a total of 138 Parliamentary seats against 137 Parliamentary seats for the New Patriotic Party should the Electoral Commission declare the seat in favour of NDC.

The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) is yet to officially announce the December 2020 Parliamentary results of Techiman South Constituency.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Statement of Polls Pink Sheet published by EC, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had a total votes of 46,379 while John Dramani Mahama, the Leader and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had a total votes of 52,034.
