Speaking in a interview monitored by Coverghana.com.gh, the Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency and the Minority Whip in the 7th Parliament Hon Muntaka Mohammed said, the Minority Members of Parliament will be present to receive Preaident Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his last Address.
According to him, the president’s final State of the Nation Address has nothing to do with the 8th Parliament of Ghana. This, he said, is President Akufo-Addo’s constitutional responsibility to appear before Parliament prior to the dissolution of the 7th Parliament on Wednesday, 6th January, 2021 to pave way for new MPs elect to be sworn in.
