MP for Bunkpurugu constituency helps 72 students to secure scholarship

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bunkpurugu constituency, Dr. Abed Bandim has demonstrated a profound commitment to education by awarding scholarships to 72 deserving students within the constituency.

The initiative was funded by the MP’s allocation of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) and the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) which aims to provide educational opportunities for students pursuing diverse courses in tertiary institutions.

The initiative extends support to many levels in the educational landscape. The beneficiaries of these scholarships cut across various academic levels, including first, second, third, and fourth-year students.

The beneficiaries of the scholarship are students who are enrolled in different establishments, such as colleges of education, nursing training colleges, and technical universities.

The scholarship package includes tuition fees, academic research expenses, and ensuring comprehensive backing for the students throughout the 2023/2024 academic year.
