MP for Yapei Kusawgu, John Jinapor launches 1 Million Cedis Education Scholarship Fund

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Yapei Kusawgu, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor has launched a One Million cedis (Ghs 1,000,000) Education Scholarship Fund to support brilliant but needy tertiary students within his constituency.

This initiative according to the law maker aims to provide financial assistance to students at various levels of education, from basic through tertiary institutions, helping to reduce the financial burden on parents and promote equal access to quality education.

Speaking at the launch, he reaffirmed his commitment to human capital development, emphasising that education remains the most powerful tool for transforming lives and communities.

Hon. John Jinapor launched stated that the fund will be transparently managed to ensure that beneficiaries are selected based on merit and genuine need.

“The Education Scholarship Fund forms part of my broader vision to empower the youth, improve educational outcomes, and promote sustainable development in the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency,” he added.
