MTN Mobile Money subscriber wallet limit and threshold

The leading communication giant in Ghana, MTN has updated subscribers on the limit on mobile money (MoMo) wallets and their respective thresholds.

The limit and threshold on the MoMo wallet as announced have been categorized into three (3) Subscriber profiles.

1. MTN GH Enhanced KYC Subscriber Profile

• The Daily Limit has a threshold of Gh¢15,000.
• Deduct has a threshold of Gh¢15,000.
• Maximum Balance on Account/Wallet Size has a threshold of Gh¢50,000.
• Monthly Limit’s threshold is unlimited.
• Remittance Daily has a threshold of Gh¢15,000.
• Remittance Monthly Limit’s threshold is unlimited.

2. MTN GH Medium KYC Subscriber Profile

Limit Name

• The Daily Limit has a threshold of Gh¢10,000.
• Deduct has a threshold of Gh¢10,000.

• Monthly Limit’s threshold is unlimited.
• Maximum Balance on Account/Wallet Size has a threshold of Gh¢25,000.
• The Monthly Remittance threshold is unlimited.
• Remittance Daily has a threshold of Gh¢10,000.

3. MTN GH Minimum KYC Subscriber Profile

Limit Name

• The Daily Limit has a threshold of Gh¢2,000.
• Deduct has a threshold of Gh¢2,000.
• Maximum Balance on Account/Wallet Size has a threshold of Gh¢3,000.
• Monthly Limit has a threshold of Gh¢6,000.
• Monthly Remittance has a threshold of Gh¢6,000.
• Remittance Daily Limit has a threshold of Gh¢2,000.
