N-PLEC and AFFED transform students into Enterpreneurs
The N-PLEC Foundation in collaboration with African Foundation For Educational Development (AFFED) present “Studentprenuer 22”, a workshop that seeks to expose students at the Senior High Schools to varied opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship through skill training and mentorship programs.
Unemployment remains a major development issue globally, and in Ghana, the rates are quite high especially among economically active population – the youth. It is in this light that N-PLEC and AFFED have collaborated to organize the Studentprenuer training session.

The various trainings sessions are aimed at giving the over 200 participants from 5 senior high school in Biakoye District an exposure to the varied opportunities inherent in the field of IT, Creative Arts and the Green Environment, as well as to the various platforms and avenues where students can seek further training.
The training session include the following areas.
1. Web Design
2. Robotics Programming
3. Design and Screen Printing
4. Handbag and Purse Making
5. Recycling and Upcycling of Used Items
According to the organizers of the programme, the training is scheduled for Saturday, 21st May, 2022 at Yamoransa Model Lab 7 (Nkonya).
