iWatch Africa’s second-quarter tracking of online abuse and harassment directed at journalists and rights activists in Ghana report has shown that, freelance Journalist Manasseh Awuni Azure, Nana Aba Anamoah Television show host and the acting manager of GHone and the seat show host on Net 2 TV Justice Kweku Annan were the most abused and harassed Journalists in the cyberspace of Ghana between April 2020 – to June 2020.
According to the report, the instances of online abuse and harassment of Journalists was featured in the report occurs in the form of Sending intimidating, threatening or offensive messages to journalists and human rights activists in the country.
According to the report from iWatch Africa, most of all the abuses occurred on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, blogs, and other online platforms.

In total, the report shows that, 2,687 instances of online abuse and harassments of Journalists have been identified.
Other Journalists who were also abused according to the report are; Serwaa Amihere, Bridget Otoo, Paul Adom Otchery, Nana Has Brefo, Ameyaw Debrah, Rebecca Darko, Jonnie Hughes, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Delris frimponmaa among others.
