President Nana Akufo-Addo has commissioned a $30 million Atlantic Lifesciences Ltd at Ningo Prampram.
The Atlantic Lifesciences Ltd is one of the 107th factories completed under the one district one factory initiative.
The one district one factory initiative was a campaign promise made by H. E Nana Addo prior to the 2016 election, aiming at providing every district with a factory.
The Atlantic Lifesciences Ltd is the 107th under the 1D1F out of the expected total of two hundred and seventy eight (278).
The factory has been established to manufacture vaccines, anti-snake serums, eye drops, inhalation anaesthesia products, syrups, capsules and capsules.
Ghana Exim Bank provided a credit facility to the tune of $10 million, out of the total investment of US$35 million, for the procurement of plant, equipment and machinery.
