President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo Nana Addo has nominated a new set of Chief Executive for municipal and district assemblies pending approval after revoking the appointment of twenty-four (24) District Chief Executives (DCE).

From the nomination document dated February 3, 2024, H.E Nana Addo Danquah said
“Pursuant to my letter of 2nd February 2024, and in accordance with article 243 (1) of the Constitution, I have made the following nominations to the office of Chief Executive of the following Municipal and District Assemblies, pending their approval by their respective assemblies:
