NCA uploads Self-Service App to Play Store for SIM Card Re-registration

The SIM card Self Service App which was hinted on by the Minister for Communications and Digitalization, Hon Ursula Owusu in her public address on 31st July, 2022 has finally been released.

According to the National Communications Authority (NCA), the Self-Service App has been uploaded to Play Store as additional means to complete SIM Card Re-registration

The Self-service App is intended for people who have gone through the first stage of their sim card registration to have their stage 2 completed. GH SIM SELF REG is the name of the application installed on Play Store.

This App provides an alternate means for registration in the comfort of the subscribers home and also seeks to cut down on the queues and frustrations at the various telecommunications network offices.

Currently, the App is available and can be downloaded for use only on the Google Play Store for android phones.

The National Communications Authority is however assuring Ghanaians that it will be available on iOS Apple store very soon.

Users must note that they have to go through the first stage successfully before they can complete the second stage on the App.
