NDC is yet to excite non-NDC voters – Bright Simons

The Vice President of Imani Africa, Mr Bright Simons has made some conclusions from the Assin North by-election as well as the Kuamwu by-election won by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to Bright Simons, the results of the two by-elections show the following;
1/ The Opposition NDC is maintaining its level of support from 2020
2/ Disgruntled supporters of the incumbent NPP are mostly staying home
3/ NDC has yet to excite non-NDC voters
4/ NPP has more to fear in 2024

BACKGROUND
It could be recalled that the opposition National Democratic Congress won the Assin North by-election which was held on June 27, 2023 and was won by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as well as the Kuamwu by-election won by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
