NHIA signs partnership deal with four new clubs in the Ghana Premier League

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has struck a new partnership deal with 4 clubs in the Ghana Premier League in Accra on 31st August, 2022.

The inaugurated partnership deal which was struck at the Authority’s Auditorium in Accra is designed to cover the four new entrants in Ghana’s Premier League for the 2022/23 season which will begin in September.

The partnership deal was signed by the National Health Insurance Authority and the Nsoatreman FC, the Tamale City, the Kotoku Royals Club and the Samartex Football Club.

According to the Authority, this partnership will allow the NHIA to register a minimum of 10,000 Ghanaians related to these teams onto the National Health Insurance Scheme. Thus; their families, friends, fans and supporters.

Dr Bernard Okoe-Boye, the Chief Executive Officer of the NHIA in his speech during the event admonished Ghanaians that The wisest thing to do today is to get registered onto the National Health Insurance Scheme.
