NIA announces new dates for mop-up registration in G. Accra, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East Regions

The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced new dates for its Mop-Up registration exercise for the Ghana Card in some four (4) different Regions in Ghana.
According to the National Identification Authority (NIA), its earlier advertised mop-up registration dates for the Greater Accra, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East Regions have been revised.
EC and NIA are registering minors in Ashanti Region – NDC alleges
The new dates published by NIA for its Mop-Up in the above stated Regions are as follow;
GREATER ACCRA : 24/08/2020 – 8/09/2020
BONO : 27/08/2020 – 11/09/2020
BONO EAST : 27/08/2020 – 11/09/2020
AHAFO : 27/08/2020 – 11/09/2020
Ahafo Chiefs commend NPP regional executives over an initiative for development
In a press statement issued by the Head of Corporate Affairs of the NIA, ACI Francis Palmdeti, the mop-up exercise targets Ghanaians aged 15 years and above who were unable to register during the mass registration exercise.
All applicants are therefore reminded to carry along to the registration centres the required documentation as well as their Ghana Post Digital address.
