NTC Teacher Licensing Mop-Up Schedule for Western Region

The National Teaching Council is embarking on a mop-up exercise to issue licenses to outstanding professional teachers who have not yet received their license.
Between June 2021 and August 2022, the Council embarked on a nationwide issuance of license to professional teachers as part of the teacher professionalization process.
Though the issuance of the license was successfully carried out, some teachers could not take part in the process due to various reasons.
Subsequently, the Council has decided to undertake a mop-up exercise at the various regional capitals. This exercise shall cover all qualified teachers, including those who graduated in 2021.
The schedule for Western Region is as follows:
Teachers from Wassa East, Shama, Efia-Kwesimetsim, Mpohor, Sekondi-Takoradi, Ahanta West and Nzema West will have their turn between 7th and 8th November, 2022 at Takoradi.
Teachers from Elembele, Jomoro, Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Prestea Huni Valley, Wassa Amenfi East, Wassa Amenfi West and Wassa Amenfi Central would also have their turn between 10th and 11th November, 2022 at Tarkwa.
