The first ever (original) photos of the State Tower, popularly called Job 600 constructed by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah has surfaced on social media.
The Job 600 edifice as intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh was constructed by the Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah’s administration as part of preparations by the country (Ghana) to host the OAU (now African Union) Conference in 1965.
The edifice was renovated between 2010 and 2012 under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Administration to provide offices for Ghanaian Members of Parliament.
According to the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), a political party founded by Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, our current democracy finds space in the legacy projects of Nkrumah.
The leadership of CPP after unveiling the project said, “this week as we commemorate the founding of African Unity, that great man reminds us of what he stood for.
