The Ranking Member on the Education Committee of Parliament and Legislator for Akatsi North Constituency Honourable Peter Kwasi Nortsu-Kotoe has advised President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over the dismissal of the eight (8) Chiana Senior High School students.
The Member of Parliament in a statement said inviting the sacked 8 Chiana students to the Presidency will be a great step towards uprooting the misconduct the students were involved in.

He calls on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to invite the dismissed eight (8) students of the Chiana Senior High School (SHS) to the presidency and give them some counseling.
The 8 dismissed Chiana SHS students were in the news for using vulgar and unprintable words on H.E President Akufo-Addo on the grounds of mismanaging the country which goes down to poverty and suffering.

Fast forward, the Ghana Education Service has investigated the misconduct of the students and pronounced their sanction on 12th January, 2023.

On the 13th of January 2023, after several public roaring of citizens including the Minority Caucus of Parliament, the President of Ghana intervened with an official press release where he directed the Ministry of Education and GES to revise their pronounced action with the best alternative.
