Police issues update on the arrest of Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor

The Ghana Police Service Administration has issued an urgent update on the arrest of the #FixTheCountry Convenor Mr. Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor.

According to the Ghana Police Service, they wish to point out that the story making rounds in some sections of the media that Mr Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor cannot be found is false and should therefore be disregarded.

In the Police earlier press release following the arrest of Mr Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor, has stated clearly that Mr Barker-Vormawor was arrested by the Tema Regional Police Command to assist with investigations.

The statement further said, in line with the Police standard operating procedure, the police proactively ensured that, Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor’s family and his lawyer were given access to him.
