Ghanaian musician Nii Soul is appealing to the people of Ghana to pray for Afua Asantewaa, who is attempting to break the world record for the longest singing marathon by an individual.

Nii Soul shared his concern for Afua in a Facebook post, explaining that he had a disturbing dream about her and urging others to pray for her strength.

He emphasized the importance of supporting Afua in her endeavor, expressing his belief in the power of prayer.

Unsurprisingly, Nii Soul’s post garnered a considerable response from his followers, with some questioning why he chose to share his dream publicly instead of reaching out to Afua’s management privately.

Response to these queries, Nii Soul explained that if God reveals something for the purpose of redemption, it is essential to share it openly.

He encouraged gratitude and reassured his followers not to panic but to rally behind Afua.

Currently, there is great anticipation surrounding Asantewaa’s attempt to break the world record, with expectations running high for her performance on Thursday morning.

The current record is held by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare, who achieved the milestone by singing for 105 hours from March 3 to March 7, 2012.

Numerous well-wishers have expressed their support for Afua on social media, including Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia.

In a social media post, he extended his best wishes to Afua, acknowledging her passion and talent, and expressing confidence in her ability to make history.

Dr. Bawumia encouraged Afua to continue shining and assured her that the nation stands behind her.
