The South Tongu District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Emmanuel Louis Agama, has disclosed that Ghanaians should stop painting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as a corrupt person.
According to the DCE, President Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration has, for the past 4 years, worked due diligently without engaging in corruption related issues so he needed another four (4) more years to do more for Ghanaians.
In a Facebook post monitored by Coverghana.com.gh Volta Regional Correspondence Tabitha Kugbonu on 17th November, 2020, Hon. Agama stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has fought corruption and will continue to fight corruption without favouring anyone be it his appointees or whosoever may be involved.
“You can’t associate the President with corruption. He is not corrupt and will never be corrupt.” He stated.
His comments came in line with several reactions coming from Ghanaians after Mr. Martin A.B.K Amidu resigned days ago from his office as the Special Prosecutor.
