Presidential Polls: Mahama takes lead in 156 out of 275 Constituencies

The Leader and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr. John Dramani Mahama takes lead in the Presidential Election against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The provisional results Projected by the Election Bureau of the Citi TV and the Election Hub of GHOne TV suggest that, John Dramani Mahama is leading the sitting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in December Polls.

A projection of the GHOne TV disclosed that, John Dramani Mahama is leading with 49.51% votes against 49.18% votes of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo from 132 out 275 Constituencies.

A statistics Projected by Citi TV also indicated that, John Dramani Mahama is leading President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo from 156 out of 275 Constituencies as of Tuesday, 8th December, 2020 at exactly 3:00pm.

A total of 119 Constituencies are left to be collated according to the Citi TV Election Bureau’s statistics while 143 Constituency’s results are yet to be received by GHOne TV.

Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission of Ghana led by Mrs. Jean Mensa who is expected to declare the final result for the Presidential election by 5:00pm has notified its inability to do so due to delay of results reaching them. The Commission has since assured Ghanaians of setting an appropriate time to declare the Presidential election results.
