The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo has consoled former President Jerry John Rawlings on the death of his mother, Madam Victoria Agbotui.
It could be recalled that the Mother of former President Jerry John Rawlings passed on an Thursday 24th September 2020 at the age of 101.
On Monday, 5th October 2020, President Nana Akufo Addo paid a visit to the first President of the 4th Republic, His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings, to commiserate with him on the death of his mother Madam Victoria Agbotui.

During the visit to the Rawlings’ family, President Nana Akufo Addo indicated that when his own mother died, he was Foreign Minister of Ghana, but I cried like a baby; so, he knows exactly how the former feels about the death of his mother Madam Victoria Agbotui.
President Akufo-Addo during his visit was accompanied by the Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Madam Frema Osei Opare and Eugene Arhin, Communications Director at the Presidency, later signed the book of condolence opened in memory of Madam Agbotui.
