The Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Ghanaian-based company for the distribution of free chocolate beverages to primary school children.
The Minister made this known in a Facebook post, where he indicated that, the distribution would be done only in some selected Schools with preference given to cocoa growing communities.
The MoU was signed between the Ministry and Niche Confectionery Ghana Limited on April 19, 2022.

The partnership, according to the Minister will help make President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s vision of ensuring that every child has access to a cocoa beverage a reality.
