Prof Ransford Gyampo elected as UTAG president for University of Ghana

Renowned University of Ghana political science lecturer professor Ransford Gyampo Yaw has been elected as President of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), University of Ghana chapter.
Ransford Gyampo won the election as President of UTAG (UG) with 93.3 percent of the total valid votes cast.
Prior to his election as president, he served as UTAG secretary of University of Ghana chapter.
According to him, in the driving seat himself, he will champion the interest of his people forcefully and proactively.
He explained that, he lost some friends as General Secretary and he do not mind losing more as he fight harder for the University Teacher in his capacity as President.
Ransford Gyampo said, it won’t be out of malice or hatred for any regime. It would be just for the advancement of the interest of his people.
“Thanks to you all for the well wishes; thanks to all my colleague lecturers for the confidence they have shown in me and thanks to my students who were relentless in their support for me.”
“Let the powers that be, take note of this: with me as UTAG President, we wouldn’t like to fight but we wouldn’t hate to fight, regardless of how protracted it could be.” He said
