Profile of Blaise Ackom – The Medical Media Personality and Cervical Cancer Ambassador

Mr. Blaise Ackom is a Ghanaian Health professional, Cervical Cancer Ambassador, Health influencer, Medical Media Personality, and Secretary of the Cancer Support Network Foundation.

He works at the Madina Polyclinic- Kekele for the past few years. He is a Cervical Cancer Ambassador, Health influencer, Medical Media Personality, and the Secretary of Cancer Support Network Foundation.

IMPACT OF MR. BLAISE ACKOM IN HEALTH

Cervical and breast cancer have been a major health concern in my advocacy programs for the past years.

Through his service, he has been able to reach out to thousands of young girls and women in Ghana, especially in societies that are hard-to-reach in almost all the regions in Ghana including the media, churches, schools, and community groups to educate them on Cervical and breast cancer prevention and also screen these young girls and women who are poor and cannot pay for the screening services for free.

His outstanding services to the nation have got him featured on the US Global TV to talk about issues pertaining to cancer and also attracted me some awards which include the Humanitarian Global awards as the best Sustainable Development Goal 10 advocate of the year 2022.

Mr. Blaise Ackom won the following awards so far:

  1. Health Personality of the Year at Top Global CEO Awards.
  2. Youth Philanthropist of the Year 2022 at the Ghana Youth Awards.
  3. Youth Health Personnel of the Year at the Ghana Youth Excellence Awards 2023.
  4. Best Youth in Health Science in 2022 at National Premier Awards.
  5. Best Sustainability Initiative of the Year at the Monitoring and Volunteerism Awards 2023.
  6. Best Health Program on Social Media at the Ghana Health Awards and Honors.

Federation of Ghana Medical Laboratory Science Students’ Association and also from the Women’s Commission of some various Universities in Ghana which includes;
