Queen Elizabeth II, the British Monarch and Head of the Commonwealth is reported dead.

The Royal Family has announced Queen Elizabeth II passed away.

Queen Elizabeth II has died aged 96, ending a monumental 70-year reign of Great Britain.

She is succeeded by her son and heir, Charles, who automatically ascends to the throne.

Her son, the new King will be known as King Charles III.
