Dr. Oko Boye who is the parliamentary candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Ledzokuku constituency and also doubles as the Minister incharge of Health has released a statement after his defeat in his bid to become Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku constituency again.
The New Patriotic Party’s Bernard Okoe Boye could not stage a comeback after he lost the seat to Nartey Ayiku in the 2020 election.
In a statement released on his official X handle, Dr. Oko Boye congratulated his contender Ben Ayiku on his victory on being elected the member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku constituency.
In his statement, Dr. Oko Boye said “The beautiful thing about Democracy is that it allows the will of the people to evolve and form. Even when what is formed is not what you desired, you have to respect it.”
“Congratulations to Ben Ayiku and H.E John Mahama for their election as Ledzokuku MP and President of the Republic respectively. In all things we give glory to the Almighty.”
