Russian-Ukraine Crisis: America To Provide Support For Ukraine
Joe Biden, the President of the United States of America has indicated that, the US will provide support for the Ukrainian people.
President Joe Biden made this known in a post on Facebook, where he indicated that, President Zelenskyy reached out to him concerning the current happenings between Russia and Ukrain.
Joe Biden further indicated that he would be meeting with the leaders of the G7, the United States and it’s allies and partners would be imposing severe sanctions on Russia.
Ukraine and Russia are currently at each other due to issues centred on Crimea and parts of Donbas which are international recognized as part of Ukraine. The tension erupted especially from 2021, when it became apparent that Russia was considering launching a military invasion on Ukraine.
The President Joe Biden also indicated that he has informed President Zelenskyy of Ukraine on steps America has taken to rally international condemnation, including United Nations Security Council.
