Kenya President endorses and recommends opposition rival, Raila Odinga to Kenyan electorates

Uhuru Kenyatta, President of Kenya is said to endorse his rival and recommended him to the Kenyan electorates.

According to President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga has the the country’s interest at heart and would serve as a man for the people.

This was made known in a Facebook post by Josey Mahachie, a Zimbabwean politician, business woman and host of Click Africa on Mnet Africa Magic.

Mahachie, in her post further asked how many African Presidents would be able to endorse and recommend their opposition rival for electorates.

Uhuru Kenyatta of the Jubilee had a total of 54.2% whiles Raila of the ODM had a total of 44.9 in Kenya’s last general election in 2017.

Kenya is expected to hold it’s next general elections on August 9, 2022. Voters will elect the President, Members of the National Assembly and Senate and Country Governors.
