Ruth Agude needs financial support for submandibular swelling surgery

A young girl, Ruth Agude, who was born with a submandibular swelling needs financial assistance to undergo a medical surgery.

Ruth Agude is a 1year 4months old child, born with a submandibular swelling which has increased in size rapidly. Growth has been progressively slower over time, the mother has tried all means to restore health of the child through various means but due to financial constraints she couldn’t achieve that.

Richmond Elvis Arku chanced on the condition of Ruth Agude during one of his community engagement in some rural deprived communities around Devime in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region, Ghana.

Reporting the health condition of Ruth Agude, Mr. Richmond Elvis Arku said, he was really saddened by the situation at first sight and promise to go the extra mile to solicit funds from various sources to help the child undergo medical surgery at an estimated cost of GH¢5,000 /$870.

According to him, early intervention will enable Ruth Agude (victim) to undergo the surgery on 10th October 2020.
