The former Women’s Commissioner of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana – TTAG Volta Sector Sema Adjovi Benedicta has been nominated for 2020 woman commissioner of the decade.

She was nominated by the Office of the Women’s Commission of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) as former Women’s Commissioner who worked and served assiduously in the best interest of female Teacher Trainees.

The nomination is geared towards recognising, celebrating and honouring distinguished women and men personalities in all essential field of Ghana’s development as far as the teacher trainee is concerned.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at St. Ambrose College of Education, Dorma during the 25th Annual Delegates Congress of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG).

She attended La Manle Dada Junior High School and served as assistant girls prefect in 2010.

She went to Tsito Senior High Technical School in 2010 and completed in 2013

In 2015, she had admission into Akatsi College of Education (AKATSICO) and was elected by a popular acclamation by students as Students’ Representative Council (SRC) Women’s Commissioner for the 2016/2017 academic year.

In Akatsi College of Education, she was a strong Member of AKATSICO Debate and quiz’s team and representd her Hall and the College on many platforms.  She also serve on Disciplinary committee of the SRC, a member of the professional development body of AKATSICO, and served as a member of AKATSICO SRC Electoral Commission.

Sema Adjovi Benedicta was later elected as the Volta Sector Women’s Commissioner for the 2017/2018 TTAG Year.
