South Tongu MP distributes streetlights across 40 Electoral Areas within his Constituency

The Member of Parliament for the South Tongu Constituency Mr. Wisdom Kobena Mensah Woyome has distributed streetlights across Electoral Areas within his Constituency.

Delivering the streetlights to Assembly Members at the Member of Parliament’s residence in Sogakope, Mr. Woyome said, the exercise is one of his projects to help fight darkness within the Constituency in the run up to the general elections.

The event which was covered by Coverghana.com.gh on Friday, 13th November, 2020, saw in attendance, a total of (40) Assembly Members/representatives from forty (40) Electoral Areas who received two (2) streetlights each.

According to Hon. Woyome, the streetlights distributed to each Electoral Area in the South Tongu Constituency will support the existing lightening system in the area.

He again disclosed that, the distribution of streetlights was extended to some key institutions and vantage areas within the Constituency ahead of the December 2020 Polls.

In all, a total of two hundred (200) streetlights have be distributed across the Constituency today.

Mr. Kobena Mensah Woyome reassured the people that, he is hopeful of distributing additional two hundred (200) streetlights making a total of four hundred (400) streetlights before the December 7 Elections.

He has therefore reiterated that, fighting darkness within the South Tongu Constituency is his Hallmark as we approach the December 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
