Special Voting: 3,459 persons expected to cast ballot in 11 Constituencies of U/W region

Out of 109, 577 registered voters expected to participate in the ongoing Electoral Commission’s Special Voting, a total of 3,459 persons are expected to cast ballot in the eleven (11) Constituencies of the Upper West Region.

Today, Tuesday, 1st December, 2020 marks Special Voting day for persons with special Election Day assignments ongoing throughout the 275 Constituencies of the country.

Special Voting takes off with a total of 109, 577 registered voters expected to vote

Categories of these individuals include security services, Electoral Commission (EC) officials, Security services and their allied staff across the country.

According to the Electoral Commission, persons placed on the Special Voting register will not be permitted to vote on the general elections day thus; 7th December, 2020. With this, anybody who’s name is on the Special Voting register but fails to cast his/her vote today must forfeit the December general elections.

Special Voting kicks off in all 275 Constituencies across Ghana

The turn out at the eleven (11) Constituencies in the Upper West Region is very high as voters show up in their numbers to cast their votes.
