Suraj-Deen Haadi, a community health nurse has emerged as the 2020 National Best nurse.
Suraj-Deen Hadi has emerged the overall best of the 2020 National Best Nurse/Midwife Awards organized by the Ghana Registered Nurses’ and Midwives Association (GRNMA) in collaboration with Ghana Health Service.
He is a Registered Community Health Nurse of Wa East District of the Upper West Region of Ghana.

He is currently a health worker at the Wa East District Hospital of the Upper West Region.
Suraj-Deen goes home with a brand new car with registration number GB-43-20 sponsored by Calbank, and a laptop.

According to the organizers, when the world was under lockdown, the nurse and midwife were at the frontlines saving lives, it is time to say thank you and acknowledge exceptional leadership of the nursing and midwifery fraternity in Ghana.
This event forms part of events to crown the 60th anniversary of Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) and the Year of the Nurse and Midwife 2020.
