A teacher in the Western Region’s Prestea locality reportedly fell victim to an assault carried out by a group of individuals who alleged that he was involved in a same-sex relationship.
The incident occurred within the confines of Blue Town, leading to a profound sense of shock within the local community.
An individual who witnessed the incident shared an account of the events. The teacher, whose identity remains undisclosed, was purportedly targeted and physically assaulted by the group due to claims that he had engaged in sexual activity with another man.
Presenting the news on Odeefour TV, the narrator commented, “Every day brings a new story. In the town of Blue Town, situated in Prestea, the individual in question displays behavior that contrasts with traditional gender norms. Allegations suggest that he participated in a sexual encounter with another man.”
Photographs of the teacher depict him in a disheveled state, his clothing torn, and signs of distress evident, including blood near his ears.
Despite his evident distress, the teacher can be observed in the images attempting to reason with the gathered crowd. He vehemently denies any engagement in homosexual activities and clarifies that he serves as an educator at a nearby institution known as Sankofa International School.
However, his efforts to communicate with the group are met with aggressive opposition as the attackers resort to using verbal abuse to express their disapproval.
