The cost of 4 interchanges under Nana Addo is Mahama’s cost of one interchange – Dr. Bawumia

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia disclosed that, the cost of four (4) different interchanges under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s New Patriotic Party government is equivalent to the cost of just one interchange constructed by former president John Dramani Mahama NDC government.
Dr. Bawumia who was addressing a Virtual Government Town Hall and Results Fair meeting at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences (GAAS) on Tuesday, 18th August, 2020 to present the infrastructural development of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo said, the John Mahama government has mismanaged the state’s resources.
He again said, this clearly shows that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has been prudent with the little resource at its disposal, thereby, doing more infrastructure projects than the previous government.

Explaining further, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia made reference to the Tema, Pokuase and Obetsebi Lamptey interchanges in the Greater Accra Region and Tamale in the Northern Region, all at a total cost of $289 million comparing it with the $260 million Kwame Nkrumah Interchange.
“I would just leave that for you to ponder,” The Vice President said.
