The Executive Secretary of the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) Mr. Sulemana Briamah has showered praises on the current Inspector General Police George Akuffo-Dampare.
According to Mr. Sulemana Briamah, IGP George Akuffo-Dampare is showing transformational leadership in the Ghana Police Service following his appointment as the head of the service.

Mr. Sulemana Briamah made these comments about the Inspector General of Police after the service stated in a press release that it has interdicted some four (4) police officers for unprofessional conduct.
According to the statement, the four interdicted Police officers who are stationed in the Northern Regional allegedly assaulted some citizens in Tamale.
The Ghana Police Service further explained that, the four officers were assigned to assist NEDCO/VRA officials to arrest some alleged persons involved inillegal power connections.
The officers will face a Service Inquiry, subject to the regulations of the Ghana Police Service.
