According to reports, he lost the seat to Ogyeahohuo Yaw Gyebi II, the Paramount Chief of Sefwi Wiaso traditional area, in a landslide victory of 47 votes against 25.
Nana Yaw Gyimah reports seven members of the house were exempted from voting by a court action.
