North Tongu Member of Parliament Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is calling on Ghanaians especially National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters to trust their NDC representatives (MPs) in Parliament, because, they have a conscience, and know that the real power belongs to them.
According to Mr. Ablakwa, going by the Supreme Court’s decision on the recent rulling on Justice Abdulai case, the E-Levy Bill has not been passed.

He explained that, what transpired today is a ridiculous nullity.
In statement, he said, you [NPP] thought we [NDC] will give them the pleasure of returning to court for a declaration that the Assin North MP shouldn’t have been present in the Chamber to vote so that you [NPP] can claim a 137-136 victory for the E-Levy.
According to him, with the NDC’s strategic walk out, the NPP fall short of the required 138 quorum under article 104(1) of the 1992 Constitution and as affirmed by the Supreme Court in the recent Justice Abdulai case.
