Two Police officers fatally shot by gunmen at Trasacco, Accra

Ghana Police has announced that Two (2) of their Officers have been fatally shot by gunmen at Trasacco, Accra.

The Ghana Police said they have launched a manhunt for the two (2) gunmen who fatally shot their two (2) off-duty Officers.

According to the release of Ghana Police on the bad incident, it was stated that the two (2) shot Police Officers sat in front of their private residence at Block factory, East Trasacco, Accra, on Thursday 2nd May 2024, at about 6:00 pm before the two gunmen fired them.

The report also has it that the said gunmen in the run did not take anything from the victims and sped off on a motorbike.

The Police intelligence-led operation to get the suspects arrested is currently ongoing and will update the public on the outcome of their manhunt.

“POLICE ON MANHUNT FOR TWO GUNMEN FOR THE FATAL SHOOTING OF TWO OFF-DUTY POLICEMEN

“The Ghana Police Service is on a manhunt for two gunmen who fatally shot two off-duty Police officers sitting in front of their private residence at Block factory, East Trasacco, Accra, today Thursday 2nd May 2024, at about 6:00 pm

“The gunmen did not take anything from the victims and sped off on a motorbike.

“An intelligence-led operation to get the suspects arrested is currently ongoing,” the issued statement on the incident by Ghana Police.
