U/E: “Electronic Payment System for Revenue Collection in the Kassena Nankana Municipality”

Researchers: Mumuni Abdulai Nyoka of the Department of Information Systems and Technology, School of Computing and Information Sciences, C. K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo, Ghana.

Abdul-Mumin Selanwiah Salifu of Tumu College of Education (Tumu), Ghana,

and David Sanka Laar of the Department of Information Systems and Technology, School of Computing and Information Sciences, C. K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo, Ghana have contributed to a project dubbed “An Electronic Payment System for Revenue Collection in the Kassena Nankana Municipality”.

The team said they realized that the traditional revenue collection in Kassena-Nankana Municipal Assembly (KNMA), Ghana is operated manually with some ICT systems employed recently.

They have conducted a study and designed an E-payment system for revenue collection in the municipality.

Their “research focused on the development and implementation of an electronic payment system, to facilitate revenue mobilization.”
