The Leadership of the Ghana National Association Teachers (GNAT) has cut sot for the construction of Hostel Project at the Upper East Regional GNAT Secretariat.
Yesterday, the National President of GNAT Ms. Phillipa Larsen and the National Secretary Mr. Thomas Tanko Musah led a delegation to the Upper East Region for sod-cutting ceremony for work to begin on a 62 bed capacity Hostel Project at the Upper East Regional GNAT Secretariat.
According to the Leadership of the Association, the Hostel Project will serve as a source of accommodation for members and as well as means of generating revenue to support the activities of the Secretariat.
Present at the ceremony were the National President of GNAT, Madam Philipa Larsen, General Secretary of GNAT, Mr. Thomas Tanko Musah, Upper East Regional Secretary and his Assistant as well as Regional Chairman, Vice Regional Chairperson and a cross section of Regional Executive Members. A cross section of District Chairmen and District Secretaries were also present to grace the occasion.
